I beg to differ. Excellent use of negative space, mixed media, and a limited 2-color palette. Not to mention the subtle three-dimensional feel provided by the curled edges of the paper swatch. Creative ignorance of the Rule of Thirds always results in a piece with a love or hate reaction - either way, it universally speaks to the rebel in all of us. I propose that not only is art his strong suit, but his calling.
