Field Trip!

Alex asked me to chaperone a field trip this year and yesterday was the day!  We went to the Capitol and the Historical Museum.  The whole group went through the tours together so we weren't assigned specific kids and I was A-OK with that. 

I was unsurprised when Alex requested we come back to the capitol when it's warmer so we can climb the steps up to the outdoor observation deck, but I was surprised when he also asked if we could come back when the Senate was in session and watch because he wants to see how it works.  Will see how long he can sit quitely before he deems it painfully boring.
