Sam was a monkey again this weekend...all weekend. He spotted the monkey suit hanging in his closet Saturday morning and there was no taking it off until his bath Sunday night. His love of wearing the suit almost plays second fiddle to the reactions of people out and about when they see him. Almost all adults at the very least give a broad smile and more often than not comment on how cute it is. Kids seem to think it's terribly fun as well. There was one little girl at the grocery store who hopped out of the cart she was riding in, proclaimed she was going to tickle him, and then took off down the aisle with him while they both squealed with joy.
While I really do enjoy seeing people think he's cute, my favorite part about this is Sam's inate need to narrate who does and who does not have a tail while he is wearing his monkey suit. "He no has a tail. He no has a tail either. I has a tail. She no has a tail."
